Call Me! - The Bosses Who Could Revive Your Team 📞

The new football season is a month in, and while clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool, Brighton, and Arsenal are thriving, others are facing underwhelming starts. As fans (and maybe chairmen) look toward the managerial market, there's a deep pool of talent available. Let's take a look at some of the out-of-work big names waiting for their next big assignment. Thomas Tuchel 🇩🇪 The 51-year-old German only spent 18 months in the Premier League with Chelsea but bagged the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup within his first few months. Despite a rocky stint at Bayern Munich, Tuchel took PSG closer to Champions League glory than anyone before him. With his impressive resume, he’s ready for the next challenge. Gareth Southgate 🏴 After eight years managing England and taking them to two European Championship finals, the 54-year-old is now on the market. His only club management experience was a three-year stint with Middlesbrough, but his achievements with England speak for themselves. Southgate’s next move could see him back in the club arena soon.

Frank Lampard 🏆 Chelsea legend Frank Lampard earned respect during a challenging 18 months as Chelsea manager, guiding the club to a top-four finish and an FA Cup final despite a transfer embargo. His recent experiences at Everton and a brief interim role at Chelsea may have lowered his stock, but he remains a strong candidate to return to management. Graham Potter ⚓ When Potter was sacked by Chelsea, many expected him to bounce back quickly. However, 18 months later, he's still waiting. Despite a turbulent spell at Stamford Bridge, Potter earned widespread acclaim for his work at Brighton. He’s still heavily linked to any high-profile job that opens up, including the England national team. David Moyes 🏴 David Moyes, despite not managing Chelsea, had a fruitful four-and-a-half years at West Ham, guiding them to European football and winning the Europa Conference League. Moyes has rebuilt his reputation after a tough spell at Manchester United, and it won’t be long before another club seeks his services.

Xavi 🇪🇸 Xavi left Barcelona after winning one La Liga title in two-and-a-half years. Despite a challenging time with financial uncertainty at the club, he kept Barcelona competitive. His tactical mind and link to Pep Guardiola make the idea of him managing in the Premier League an exciting prospect. Zinedine Zidane 🇫🇷 Zidane has been out of management since leaving Real Madrid in 2021. His time at the club was nothing short of extraordinary, winning three consecutive Champions League titles. While Zidane is untested outside Madrid, he remains a hot commodity for any team looking to bring in a proven winner. Jurgen Klopp 🇩🇪 Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has said he needs a year away from the game and would never manage another Premier League club. However, in football, promises are often broken. Klopp’s triumphant career at Anfield makes him a target for Europe’s biggest clubs when he’s ready to return. Other Potential Candidates 🧑‍💼 Max Allegri 🇮🇹: The serial winner with Juventus is waiting for his next challenge after a decade of success in Serie A. Joachim Low 🇩🇪: After 15 years leading Germany to a World Cup title, Low has been awaiting his next opportunity since 2021. Niko Kovac 🇭🇷: The Croatian coach left Wolfsburg earlier this year and previously won the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. Edin Terzic 🇩🇪: Terzic ended his Borussia Dortmund reign after a run to the Champions League final. He’s available for a top job. Stefano Pioli 🇮🇹: The former AC Milan and Inter Milan boss is on the market after a string of successful campaigns in Serie A. Sergio Conceicao 🇵🇹: After seven years at Porto, Conceicao is now available and looking for his next adventure. Maurizio Sarri 🇮🇹: Sarri's unique style and eccentric approach made him an intriguing figure at Chelsea, and he’s now available after leaving Lazio. With such a wealth of talent available, struggling Premier League clubs could find the perfect solution among these experienced managers. ⚡ Image Credit: GettyImages
